Postdoc in Hydrologic Remote Sensing

DTU Sustain offers a 2-year Postdoc position in hydrologic remote sensing. If you are establishing your career in the fields of hydrology and/or environmental remote sensing, and you are looking for the best possible position for fulfilling your dreams and ambitions, it may be right in front of you. At DTU Sustain, you will work in the framework of a newly funded Horizon Europe project focusing on the development of groundbreaking airborne hydrometric monitoring technology and its application in use cases around the world. You will be working with academic and industry partners from across Europe and with a dedicated and ambitious team of scientists at DTU Sustain and DTU Space. Responsibilities and qualifications
The specific responsibilities and tasks of the postdoctoral researcher will include

• Development of new airborne and satellite sensing methods for river hydrometric variables (water level, velocity, bathymetry, discharge)
• Data-model fusion and integration into models decision support systems
• Integration of UAS sensor payloads and implementation of survey campaigns
• Data processing and interpretation
• Project management and coordination of project activities and partners
• Contribution to teaching and student project supervision at DTU Environment
