Workshop “Standardization of procedures in using UAS for environmental monitoring”

We are pleased to inform that the next Workshop of the COST Action HARMONIOUS will be held at the University of Coimbra, in Coimbra, Portugal, on November 6^th, 2019. The Workshop will focus on the Standardization of procedures in using UAS for environmental monitoring, and will be opened to all interested (scientific and technical communities, stakeholders). Come to Coimbra to find out about our activities!

Contributions from the scientific and technical communities are welcome and will be presented in oral and poster sessions.

Travel information

Coimbra is an old university town situated in the centre of Portugal, between Lisbon (200 km) and Porto (120 km) and about 35 km from the Atlantic coast at Figueira da Foz.

By plane:

Lisbon and Porto international airports have many connections to major European and American airports.

By train:

Coimbra A or Coimbra B railway stations (schedules can be found at http://www.cp.pt) are directly connected to Lisbon and Porto. From either station a taxi can bring you to the conference venue (approx. 7 €).

By car:

Leave the A1 highway at Coimbra south.

By bus:

There are regular buses connecting the three cities (Lisbon-Coimbra-Porto).
